Charleston Architecture

The architecture in Charleston is one of the many reasons for it’s broad appeal. Charleston is a mixture of several architectural styles such as Georgian, Greek Revival, Classic Revival and Victorian. Examples of all of these can be found while strolling through downtown Charleston. Charleston’s downtown area is noted as a National Historic Landmark. In fact, more than 3,000 buildings in the city are labeled as historic.

Deriving its character from the Caribbean islands, Charleston creates a unique palette for design and construction methodologies which have stood the test of time, wars, and natural disasters. As a local architect firm, we take great pleasure in designing both residential and commercial structures that take place to blend and add to the beauty of downtown Charleston and the surrounding areas.
