Hudson Designs provides a full range of architectural services for custom homes. In our design process, we typically provide a multitude of services geared around a truly custom home design or a tenant up-fit for those commercial projects. We can also provide limited services – or a combination of services- based on your unique wishes.
Charles L. Hudson, Jr. AIA, NOMA
Charles is the driving force behind Hudson Designs, Inc. designing custom homes, as well as commercial and religious projects. He became a registered architect in 1995 after graduating from Trident College in 1984. Charles is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and The National Organization of Minority Architects (NOMA). In 1997, He became partner in the firm of Seamar Fullerton Hudson Designs. In 2004, Charles became president of this firm and the name was changed to Hudson Designs, Inc.
Charles also holds a Degree in Education from Southern Illinois University and utilizes that degree in sharing his passion for architectural design in speaking with our future students in various local schools and the Boys and Girls Club.

Site Evaluation
Our design process start with the place your want to build. If there are several sites to consider, we will always listen to your desires and work with you to analysis the best area that will meet your needs.
Architechtural & Design Consultation
The creation of an idea is what motivates our architects. Those ideas are transformed into custom homes that are unique to our clients individualized lifestyle.
Plan Reviews
Working close with you, we will create a design concept that will need to be reviewed. We will meet with the local jurisdictions to present the concept and continue to develop our ideas into construction documents for pricing.
Contractor Selection
During our designing processes interior selections, and reviews. We will assist and act as you representative to the contractor. As we select the builder and begin the construction process we will stay in contact with from ground breaking to keys in hand just to make sure you should have a seamless building experience
